Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate complex components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor machine performance and adjust cutting parameters as necessary to optimize production efficiency and maintain dimensional accuracy.
Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring continuous process improvement.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC machinist or lathe operator with expertise in lathe machining.
Strong technical knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining practices.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade school program in machining or a related field.
Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
Prior CNC lathe operation experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
