Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor secondary processing equipment including tumbling systems, sand blasting equipment, water jet machines, and other finishing tools.
- Perform post-machining finishing processes to ensure components meet required surface finish, cleanliness, and dimensional standards.
- Support chemical processing preparation activities such as anodizing and passivation according to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform packaging and labeling of finished components in accordance with company procedures and traceability requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production activities, inspections, and packaging processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support safety, efficiency, and compliance with medical manufacturing standards.
- Assist in identifying equipment or process issues and communicate with supervisors or maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Follow all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in medical devices or a related industry.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade school program in machining or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
